Prism Architects was established in 1997 by Sam Manyathela, Schalk van der Merwe and Noel Puta after identifying the need for a practice that could respond to a new and changing South African society.
The original prism-and-rainbow identity was developed to represent light unfolding through a prism — a visual metaphor for serving the country’s broader “rainbow community”.
From studio to landmarks.
Rather than another generic “about us” page, this version gives the history a clear sequence and lets the portfolio carry the credibility.
